George Soros Targeted By Conservative James O’Keefe

James O’Keefe is a well known conservative who is also known as a big time prankster. In May 2016 he decided he wanted to try and infiltrate Open Society Foundations, a charity network run by billionaire George Soros.

The problem is O’Keefe told on himself when he forgot to hang the phone up. Audio of O’Keefe’s call has him leaving a message and identifying himself as someone by the name of “Victor Kesh”. After leaving his message, not realizing he didn’t properly disconnect, he started telling an unidentified person about his plans.

In his message he mentioned he was an Hungarian-American and said, “would like to get involved with you and aid what you do in fighting for, um, European values.” The funny thing is, according to, O’Keefe was actually heard telling someone to not say anything until he hangs up the phone.

After thinking he hung up the phone, O’Keefe engaged in a 10 minutes conversation, all of which was recorded on the voicemail, about what he plans to do to infiltrate the organization. He said that someone other than himself would need to make a hundred calls just like he made.

At one point during the 10 minutes conversation, O’Keefe said he would be opening Dana Geraghty’s LinkedIn page to get as much information as he can to use it to get closer to George Soros. Dana Geraghty is a Senior Program Operations Specialist within the Open Society Foundation organization.

The problem with O’Keefe’s plan is that once he opened Geraghty’s LinkedIn page, his own LinkedIn page was revealed to her. Geraghty was quoted as saying, “It was a little chilling to hear this group of men talking about me as a ‘point of entry’.” She also said it was very obvious the men weren’t very savvy when it came to technology.

After hearing the voicemail Geraghty immediately forwarded it to Chris Stone, the president of the foundation. Stone wasn’t pleased with O’Keefe’s attempt to scam Geraghty on While you can’t help but laugh at O’Keefe tripping himself up, the reality is what he was trying to do is no laughing matter.

About Open Society Foundations

After George Soros had become a billionaire, he decided it was time to start giving back and do what he could to help make the world a better place. In 1979 George Soros started Open Society Foundations as a way to do just that. Soros was quoted as saying, “Open society is based on the recognition that our understanding of the world is inherently imperfect.”

He started the organization by helping black students at the University of Cape Town in South Africa study abroad. George Soros believes that his success has given him a level of independence that very few people have.

He also believes it has given him the ability to stand up and speak out about controversial issues which he frequently does through his foundation.
